Aspies have a tendency to take things literally. Especially when you use idioms around us, it takes us a minute to get it. This can be awkward. But it can also be hilarious because of the mental pictures we get in out heads.
So, as an example, here's something you don't want to say when you play cards with me.
What? He asked for it.

I can't believe I've never commented on this post! So true! I love wordplay, but still finding myself so tempted when people say something like that. My b/f understands and so when we play games or whatever and he makes a joke about hit me or something I will and he'll laugh with me. I don't hit him too hard (unlike Fuzzy, lol!) cause I have learned to not be so serious. I am so glad for my b/f. Once he started learning and understanding me, he doesn't get so upset or offended when I say or do something.
